We are seeking an experienced, reliable Medical Technologist to provide part time oversight and consultation services for our growing Rheumatology practice in Greenbelt MD.

This role is responsible for ensuring laboratory quality in our moderately complex lab.  To ensure regulatory compliance, equipment functionality when the MLT has exhausted all solutions. Patient Safety related to in office laboratory testing.

Flexible hours based on practice needs and inspection schedules.

Responsibilities:

Oversee quality control processes for in office lab testing.

Ensure adherence to all State CLIA, OSHA and applicable lab regulations

Prepare the practice for state and regulatory inspections.

Be available on site during lab and State inspections as needed.

Review lab reports and testing procedures for accuracy and patient safety

Provide guidance and supervision to the MLT's

Maintain documentation related to quality assurance, proficiency testing and inspection readiness.

Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support safe and effective patient care

Compensation based on experience and scope of oversight responsibilities.
